1926.955(b)(3)(i)
A designated employee shall be used in directing mobile equipment adjacent to footing excavations.

1926.955(b)(8)
A designated employee shall be utilized to determine that required clearance is maintained in moving equipment under or near energized lines.


1926.955(d)(1)
Prior to stringing parallel to an existing energized transmission line a competent determination shall be made to ascertain whether dangerous induced voltage buildups will occur, particularly during switching and ground fault conditions. When there is a possibility that such dangerous induced voltage may exist the employer shall comply with the provisions of paragraphs (d) (2) through (9) of this section in addition to the provisions of paragraph (c) of this 1926.955, unless the line is worked as energized.

Employees shall be instructed and trained in the live-line bare-hand technique and the safety requirements pertinent thereto before being permitted to use the technique on energized circuits

All work shall be personally supervised by a person trained and qualified to perform live-line bare-hand work.
