(j) Communication of chromium (VI) hazards to employees.
(1) General.
In addition to the requirements of the Hazard Communication
Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200, employers shall comply with the following
requirements.

(2) Employee information and training. (i) The employer shall
ensure that each employee can demonstrate knowledge of at least the
following:

(A) The contents of this section; and

(B) The purpose and a description of the medical surveillance
program required by paragraph (i) of this section.
(ii) The employer shall make a copy of this section
readily
available without cost to all affected employees.
